Toronto’s Jennie Laws releases single ‘Everything You Know About Me’

“From love lost and love gained, to moving back home and reconnecting with my roots, this song deals with the core of who I am and inspires others to be themselves. From secrets and fears, to excitement about the joys in life. Everything you share with the people closest to you. We all experienced that getting through the pandemic and finding a new footing in life.”

Toronto-born singer, composer and multi-instrumentalist Jennie Laws has emerged as a beautiful and brilliantly talented arrival on the cutting edge of today’s music. She’s best known for her unique songwriting skills, distinctive sultry voice and story-telling delivery, with the ability to bring it all together in one accessible and appealing package.

Initially discovered by Narada Michael Walden (Mariah Carey, Whitney Houston, Aretha Franklin) & subsequently managed by Prince’s former manager Jacqui Thompson, Jennie teamed up with Jacqui and released her debut EP ‘Introducing Jennie Laws’. Jennie has opened up for Bruno Mars and Andy Grammer, and she also sang background vocals for INXS and Michael Buble. She’s currently working with leading industry tastemakers Kickraux, SLMN, Emerson Brooks, and Lee Wilson. She co-wrote and recorded a song with legendary songwriter Leon Ware (Marvin Gaye, Maxwell) featuring Detroit crooner and multi-instrumentalist Dwele and has another song coming out soon with Prince’s former musical director Morris Hayes as part of his band Global Groove for Peace.

Today she celebrates the release of her new single ‘Everything You Know About Me’:
