TREZR deliver pop anthem ‘Sober’

TREZR are a pop trio hailing from Dallas and seem to offer something completely different. Colin, Trey and Will came across one another through mutual circles and implemented their different influences, resulting in a fresh pop sound with hook-ridden guitar riffs and much, much more. ‘Sober’ is only their sophomore release, and their unique sound is there for all to see in this additive single.

From the off the melody is there and draws you in immediately, with Trey’s swooning vocal and Colin’s soft guitar chords working in harmony with one another. The track then introduces TREZR hugely potent sound, with the almost heavy rock guitar lines sitting in behind the percussion and the vocals. It’s rock influenced pop with a difference, with all the ingredients for a pop hit embedded in there. We can’t wait to see what’s next for this exciting trio.

Speaking more on the meaning behind ‘Sober’, TREZR explain:

‘At the time I was in a long-term relationship that slowly started to devolve into distance and dissonance. We both had our share of fights and problems, but we were still in love, until one day when it was just one of us hanging onto the relationship and the other thought it might just be the time to end it. This song is about that turning point where you start asking,” What went wrong? What drove us to this metaphorical cliff in our relationship, and is there anything that could be done to fix things and go back to how we were?”
