Musician/composer Elisa Dal Bianco and singer Vittoria Cavedon are the musical masterminds behind Trust the Mask. Despite their debut being in 2021 with single “Solstice Ritual,” they’ve already imprinted themselves within the electro-pop scene. Trust the Mask’s unique and signature sound has been lauded by tastemakers and fans alike.
Trust the Mask are back with an infectious new single entitled “Our Fault.” Featuring pounding drums, subtle synth work and angelic backing vocals, the single will be sure to pick you up and leave you wanting more. Accompanying are irresistible vocals that work hand in glove with well-penned lyrics.
Trust the Mask say: “Trust the Mask are seeking connection. Connection to the world amidst an increasingly fractured global environment. ‘Our Fault’ is a letter of apology to Mother Earth. Written during the lockdown, when it seemed pretty clear that Nature was sending us a terrible message after centuries of abuse. A song that began by experimenting with arpeggios on a vintage accordion to which analog synths, virtual pipe organs and layers of choral samples were added. It is again Vittoria’s amazing voice that guides the narrative as a conscience that reminds us of all the mistakes humanity has made.”
Taken from their upcoming debut album Idiom which represents an ethereal journey in the search for a universal language.
The incredibly exciting and highly anticipated forthcoming full album project, Idiom is an attempt to communicate across ages, classes and personalities. Discussing what the new generations might be experiencing in the here and now and how reality could be; without any effort, free from territorial and ideological boundaries. Each piece is a snapshot of different places and cultures, which appear distant and unknown.
