Unfamiliar Things showcase their new EP with the wondrous ‘A Field Song’

After cementing their stunning legacy to date with the release of their highly-praised self-titled debut album earlier this year, LA-based outfit Unfamiliar Things return to the fold once again to offer up the wondrous new single ‘A Field Song’.

Lifted from their newly unveiled EP ‘A Stream Through The Valley, which is available now, ‘A Field Song’ delivers more of that warm and breezy folk-pop aesthetic they have built for themselves over the years. With frontman Matt Levy’s stunning vocals carrying the track across a broad and progressive instrumentation throughout, they are continuing to establish themselves as one of the more enticing names on the rise right now.

Speaking on the track, Levy describes it as “a piece of self-realization, centered around the theme of perpetual dissatisfaction. The narrator undergoes a profound realization of this fact and ultimately reaches a state of meditative acceptance, ready to embrace change.”
