Warning Signal return with their raucous single ‘Nightmare’

You don’t have to reinvent the wheel to be a good band and Warning Signal are living proof of this. Causing a stir with their latest track ‘‘Nightmare,’ they perfectly capture the energy of their live performance with a track that fuses metal distortion with pop vocal lines.

Talking about the new track, the three-piece from Brighton share: “We have been working hard in the studio to create a sub-3 minutes explosive dark pop metal song, our aim has been to blend the live and loud sound of our band’s stage show with some innovative guitar treatments, filmic sound design and more.  The song has been produced by an exciting new producer Robin G Breeze of Guranfoe and The VV Experience. This track has heavy riffs, eerie vocals and clandestine, cagey lyricism.  The song encapsulates everything Warning Signal are about and we want it to set the stage for things to come.”

They have gigged extensively, building a following and developing as a live act at venues such as The Dublin Castle and the Hope and Anchor in London, Jimmy’s and The Cavern in Liverpool as well as their home turf, The Prince Albert in Brighton.  They’ve also performed for Fierce Panda’s Pandamonium festival at the Victoria, and will be playing a Mini Tour in July at venues including The Hobbit, Southampton, Esquires, Bedford, and The Portland Arms, Cambridge.

Their success on the live scene in Brighton in particular has brought them to the attention of Melitta Dennet from BBC introducing South who has regularly supported them on her show. This is just one accolade in their career of which we think there will be many more to come.
