Watch Justin Timberlake open the Oscars with ‘Can’t Stop The Feeling’

Justin Timberlake opened the Oscars 2017 ceremony by performing his hit single ‘Can’t Stop The Feeling’.

The song, taken from the Trolls soundtrack, was up for Best Original Song.

Watch the performance below.

The pop star may have opened the 2017 Oscars with a bang, but the ceremony ended in chaos when the wrong film was announced as winner of Best Picture.

La La Land was mistakenly announced as the winner of Best Picture in a mix-up that eventually saw Moonlight confirmed as the official winner. The mix-up appears to have happened after Warren Beaty and Faye Dunaway, who were announcing the winner, were given the wrong envelope, one containing the winner of the previous category (Emma StoneLa La Land for Best Actress).

Despite the mix-up that closed the ceremony, those involved with La La Land didn’t go away empty-handed. The Emma Stone and Ryan Gosling-starring film dominated the night, winning six awards at the prestigious ceremony.
