Kendrick Lamar and SZA have released their video for ‘All The Stars‘ which is taken from the Black Panther soundtrack.
The pair’s most recent collaboration comes from the highly anticipated Black Panther movie. The soundtrack was curated by Lamar and is due for release on 9th February via Interscope Records. The movie itself will hit theatres 16th February.
The video was directed by Dave Meyers and The Little Homies, which includes Dave Free and Lamar. Speaking about why he chose Lamar for the soundtrack, director Ryan Coogler said: “I am honoured to be working with such an incredible artist whose work has been so inspirational, and whose artistic themes align with those we explore in the film. I can’t wait for the world to hear what Kendrick and TDE have in store.”
Lamar went on to say: “Marvel Studios’ Black Panther is amazing, from its cast to its director. The magnitude of this film showcases a great marriage of art and culture. I’m truly honoured to contribute my knowledge of producing sound and writing music alongside Ryan and Marvel’s vision.”
