Stormzy has shared the new video for his song ‘Cold‘.
After Stormzy’s album Gang Signs and Prayer hit the number one spot in the UK, the breakthrough grime artist took to Twitter to unveil the new visuals for ‘Cold‘. In celebration of Stormzy’s debut album earning gold chart certification, the video for ‘Cold‘ was released early.
The video shows Stormzy rapping in front of cold and gloomy backgrounds, illuminated only by chilling blue neon lights and falling snow. Scattered amongst the segments of Stormzy are scenes of children dressed as doctors, monarchs, and businessmen. Watch the video below.
It has also been revealed that in the midst of Stormzy’s Gang Signs and Prayer going gold, two of his singles have earned special sales clarifications in the UK. It has been confirmed by BPI that ‘Shut Up’ has reached platinum status with 600,000 sales whilst the Gang Signs and Prayer single ‘Big For Your Boots’ hit silver certification with 200,000.
