Wavves have unleashed a brand new song titled, ‘The Lung‘, as part of Adult Swim‘s Singles Program.
The new track is a heavily distorted cut rolling in pulsing drums that pack one hell of a punch. Reverberated vocals and heavy basslines contrasted by dainty bells make ‘The Lung‘ sound undeniably catchy. Listen to the track below.
‘The Lung‘ is the 19th song to be released in the 52-single Adult Swim series and follows tracks from Tanya Tagaq, Zaytoven, Downtown Boys, Deerhoof and others. The previous years Singles Program saw new tracks from Run The Jewels, Flying Lotus, Earl Sweatshirt, Rae Sremmurd and more.
The band recently announced a co-headlining North American tour with Joyce Manor which is scheduled to fire up in October. Their most recent release was this year’s You’re Welcome.
