On August 1st, Wonderlick will release their new album, Wonderlick Goes To War. The album’s opening track and first single is “Niagara Falls, 1969.” Reminiscent of They Might Be Giants, the track is a quirky retelling of a little-known aspect of American history: the 1969 decision to temporarily halt the flow of the Niagara River to inspect and stabilize the American side of the falls. Tim Quirk and company manage to make the history lesson a fun and catchy excursion!
