I recently watched the ‘Worry about you’ video by Tyler James w/ Kano, everything about this song seems effortlessly put together on both the director’s and Tyler James’s part. Very simple yet brilliant in this music lover’s opinion.
The video is set in a oriental style restaurant, which doubles up as a front for a shady underworld gambling house, which Tyler Jame’s partner [we assume] has somehow got herself caught in, and is obviously losing ALOT of money. The video sees Tyler James act the hero, bursting into this oriental restaurant, [with again what we can only assume to be a bag of bailout money] walking past everything and everyone, and signalling to Kano who is waiting for him on a nearby table, and the duo proceed straight back to the dimly lit gambling room, intruding on a current on going game, dumps the bag on the table and carries this damsel in distress away.
The video portrays Tyler and Kano as your average day hero’s without the costumes, equipped only with suave fitted suits, and cloaked with a notorious yet mysterious aura, that seems to be intriguing and scaring the customers in the restaurant – from the hard serious faces they hold, to the way the duo walk through the restaurant to the back. The lyrics and visuals go so hand in hand, which make it THAT much more appealing!
