Amy Winehouse hologram tour is coming in 2019

An Amy Winehouse hologram is in the works, with a live tour scheduled for 2019.

The show will “utilise new state-of-the-art propriety technology” whilst the projection of the late singer will perform digitally remastered songs via “theatrical stagecraft.”

The late singer’s father, Mitch Winehouse, has expressed in a statement that seeing his daughter perform again will indeed be a dream come true, he added: “Our daughter’s music touched the lives of millions of people and it means everything that her legacy will continue in this innovative and groundbreaking way.”

This immersive venture is being driven by BASE Hologram and has blessings from both the Amy Winehouse Foundation and her estate. Mitch has explained how BASE Hologram and the Winehouse family are working together “to incorporate fundraising and [an] awareness campaign for The Amy Winehouse Foundation’ in conjunction with ‘the worldwide tour.’
