It’s not uncommon for Azealia Banks to make headlines with her social media antics. Yesterday she stayed true to form, sharing information about a miscarriage she suffered, followed by a list of things she thinks Nicki Minaj should and shouldn’t do.
Banks stated, in her now deleted Facebook post, that she thinks Nicki should “Slim down a bit… Stop calling yourself the queen of rap,” The post previously disclosed “I don’t understand why you are so impressed with yourself… In 2017 I hope you find some new inspiration and decrease your butt implants…”
It has been speculated that this outburst correlates to the recent release of the ‘The Pinkprint’ singer’s mobile game, ‘Nicki Minaj: The Empire’. The song hosts a fictional singer named ‘Fan2Sea’ whose song was described as a “loud obnoxious screech”. Azealia Banks’ 2012 mix-tape was coincidentally titled ‘Fantasea’.
After retracting and deleting the post, Banks then declared on social media “I am not the same person I was two hours ago… Hope you Lot got your screenshots. It’s all jokes guys. Calm down and enjoy the holiday.”
