Beyoncé will voice Nala in The Lion King remake, joining Donald Glover, Seth Rogen, John Oliver and more

Excitement around Disney‘s live-action remake of The Lion King was already quite high, after having announced that Donald Glover would voice Simba. Today, Disney has revealed the full cast-list for the 2019 film, and it’s quite a stacked one.

The most eye-catching name immediately apparent is Beyoncé, who will voice the female lead Nala. On top of that there will also be Billy Eichner and Seth Rogen as Timon and Pumba respectively, James Earl Jones reprising his role as Mufasa, Chiwetel Ejiofor as Scar, John Oliver as Zazu, Eric André as Azizi and many more.
