Björk, Kendrick, The xx, Lorde, Childish Gambino and More have been nominated for the 2018 BRIT Awards.
The list of British musicians nominated included Gorillaz, The xx, Liam Gallagher, Sampha, Wolf Alice, Stormzy, J Hus, Ed Sheeran, Dua Lipa, Harry Styles, and Jessie Ware, whilst the international nominees featured Björk, Kendrick Lamar, Childish Gambino, Drake, LCD Soundsystem, HAIM, Arcade Fire, Wolf Alice, The Killers, and Alicia Keys.
The album of the year title could be given to Dua Lipa for her self-titled record, Ed Sheeran for ÷, Stormzy for Gang Signs & Prayer, and J Hus for Common Sense. Check out the list of full nominations here.
Dua Lipa made BRIT Awards history this year being nominated five times. Her five nominations not only make her the most nominated act this year but most nominated UK female act in history.
The BRIT awards 2018 is set to take place on 21st February at the O2 Arena in London. Jack Whitehall, the British comedian/actor, will host the awards with performances scheduled from Dua Lipa, Foo Fighters, Stormzy, Jorja Smith, Sam Smith, Ed Sheeran, and Rag ’n’ Bone Man so far.
