Fresh off a wave of sold-out shows across Edinburgh and London, Caitlin Cook brings her hilarious, genre-smashing musical The Writing On The Stall back to the UK this summer. The show kicks off with two performances at Brighton’s Komedia before a four-night run at London’s Soho Theatre.

Described as a “gold standard of musical comedy” by The New York Times, The Writing On The Stall is exactly what it sounds like — a show inspired by bathroom graffiti. But what Caitlin Cook does with it is anything but expected. She transforms crude scribbles and existential musings found on toilet walls into original songs that are funny, sharp, and sneakily profound.

It’s not just the concept that grabs you — it’s Caitlin herself. With over 50 million streams across her albums, an Oxford education, and credits as a writer, director, and creative consultant, she’s a magnetic force onstage. Fans of Bo Burnham, Tim Minchin, or Flight of the Conchords will find a kindred spirit — albeit one who’s a little raunchier, and a lot more… stall-centric.

If you like your comedy smart, dirty, and tuneful, beg, borrow, or steal a ticket. Seriously.
