Cara Delevingne releases new song ‘I Feel Everything’

Cara Delevingne came to the fore in recent years through her modelling career, but as we have come to know the young British star through higher profile exposure, it has become clear that she has considerable talents beyond her appearance. She has an interest in design, but more notably has become a regular on television and in Hollywood, featuring in films from Anna Karenina to Suicide Squad.

There have been hints that she has a musical talent, too. It’s known that she plays guitar and drums and has recorded music in the past; she’s also appeared in music videos for the likes of Taylor Swift and been filmed singing with Ed Sheeran. Now comes our first direct taste of Delevingne’s musical abilities with her most high-profile solo track to date, ‘I Feel Everything‘. It’s taken from the soundtrack to her new summer blockbuster Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets, which arrives in cinemas around the world over the next couple of weeks.

I Feel Everything‘ shows off Delevingne’s delightfully brassy voice amidst a smattering of jazz-inflected instrumentation. It’s not the kind of punchy pop song you might imagine being on a summer blockbuster soundtrack, but is instead much more intimate and stripped back, allowing Delevingne’s voice and words come to the fore.

Whether this is a sign of more music to come from the model is unclear at this point, but ‘I Feel Everything‘ certainly has us intrigued.
