‘Caveman’ Justin Bieber slammed by PETA for wearing fur coat

PETA took aim at Justin Bieber, slamming him for his large fur coat and labelling him a ‘Caveman’.

No stranger to the fashion police, Bieber has come under fire in the past for sporting Metallica and Nirvana shirts.

Talking to Digital Spy, PETA’s Lisa Lange said that, “This caveman couture look is a new low for Justin Bieber,” following on to state “Coyotes and other animals trapped for ridiculous coats like this one panic and gnaw at their limbs until a trapper arrives to shoot or beat them to death, often orphaning their helpless babies.”

Lisa Lange also announced her concerns proclaiming “It’s always astounding to see someone with such great fortune and fame show no mercy for animals who simply want to be left alone to live with their families.”

People on Twitter also voiced their opinions on the matter, angrily tweeting they hoped it was faux fur.

Justin Bieber has recently been in the news for holding bible classes backstage on his ‘Purpose’ album world tour – read more about that here.
