Demi Lovato is 2018’s most searched person

Demi Lovato was the most-searched-for person on Google in the U.S during 2018.

The singer made headlines after relapsing with a drug overdose and entering rehab.

Google’s “Year in Search” data was revealed today and showed thatLovato’s name was searched more than Logan Paul’s, Meghan Markle’s and Judge Kavanaugh’s.

Musicians ranked highly on the list, with Eminem, Rick Ross, Cardi B and Ariana Grande sitting alongside Lovato in the top ten.

The most searched song of 2018 was Queen’s iconic classic, ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’ – no doubt bolstered by the recently released Freddie Mercury biopic of the same name – followed by Childish Gambino’s political hard hitter ‘This is America’, and the much-loved children’s song by Pinkfong, ‘Baby Shark’.

The late Mac Miller was the most searched for death, followed by followed by Aretha Franklin, XXXTentacion and Avicii in the top 10.

The royal nuptials of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry unsurprisingly trumped wedding-related searches but received some stiff competition from Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra‘s marriage.
