Dinosaur Jr frontman, J Mascis has announced new album, ‘Elastic Days’ set to drop on Sub-Pop on 9th November.
In a similar vein to Mascis’ previous solo albums, it is set to be a softer, stripped back folk-rock affair compared to the electric guitar havoc of Dinosaur Jr.
Speaking about his latest solo output, Mascis explains how the writing process revealed to him a new love for drumming: ‘I’d just got a new drum set I was really excited about. I just kept playing. I’d play the acoustic guitar parts then head right to the drums.”
