Elbow unveil cinematic new video for latest single ‘Magnificent (She Says)’

Elbow have revealed the cinematic video accompanying their new single ‘Magnificent (She Says)’.

Their first release since the departure of drummer Richard Jupp after 25 years with the band, the track is the lead single from their eagerly-anticipated seventh LP ‘Little Fictions’. Guitarist Mark Potter describes the cut as “the song people have been waiting for us to write”.

Formed in Bury, Greater Manchester, in 1990 by Jupp, Potter and brother Chris, singer Guy Garvey and bassist Pete Turner, the band performed under several aliases before settling on Elbow in 1997. They released their debut album ‘Asleep In The Back’ in 2001 on Richard Branson’s V2 Records. In 2008 the band won the Mercury Music Prize for ‘The Seldom Seen Kid’, and the following year picked up two Ivor Novello awards.

Elbow will be touring across the UK in support of ‘Little Fictions’ throughout the spring. More info on dates at elbow.co.uk
