Frank Ocean thanks The Beatles for getting him out of his writers block

Frank Ocean has stated that listening to The Beatlesalmost single-handedly” got him out of writer’s block during writing sessions for his albums Endless and Blonde.

John Lennon and Paul Mccartney were awarded songwriters’ credits on the track ‘White Ferrari‘ after Ocean sampled The Beatles song “Here, There and Everywhere” on Blonde. Kanye West was also credited to the track along with The Beatles members.

During a rare speaking appearance on his radio show Blonded on Apple Music’s Beats 1, the Odd Future affiliate stated that after listening to ‘Here, There and Everywhere‘ by The Beatles, he regained his creative powers. “I want to thank The Beatles for almost single-handedly getting me out of writer’s block,” he said. “Do you hear this?

On the most recent episode of Ocean’s Blonded show, he featured a new version of his song ‘Biking‘ that features Tyler The Creator and Jay Z. The new version features solely Frank Ocean and includes a new never before heard verse. Listen to the new version of the song below.
