Gorillaz debuted a new Snoop Dogg featuring song during a live show in Chile.
The new track is called ‘Hollywood‘ and has been confirmed by frontman Damon Albarn that it will appear on a forthcoming 2018 LP. Although the song’s collaborator wasn’t present, Albarn challenged fans to “see if you can work out who it is”. It appears that the mystery artist was Snoop Dogg. In addition to the new song, it was also announced that their new album would be released “very soon”. Albarn told the crowd: “If you go and tell anyone that we’re putting a new album out very soon then I’ll deny it because I didn’t say that, alright?”
Gorillaz last album, Humanz, was released last April and marked the first new record from the group in six years.
