Indie rocker Kev Sherry Drops Gritty Indie Album and Accompanying Novel

Indie rock renegade Kev Sherry—frontman of cult Scottish band Attic Lights and acclaimed graphic novelist—has unleashed ‘Wrath Of Can’, his second solo record. Raw, urgent, and proudly “rough and ready,” it’s a punchy blast of uncompromising indie rock produced by Chris McCrory (Catholic Action). The album’s title? A playful reference to a Star Trek prank pulled on his wife—because of course it is.

But Kev’s not done there. To mark the release, he’s also published ‘Here Be Apples’—a fictionalised novel inspired by his time signed to a major label. Available now on Amazon (and bundled via Bandcamp), the book captures the chaos, humour, and heartbreak of life on tour. Think cults, cracked relationships, and the unavoidable reckoning with the past.

Sherry’s creative orbit keeps expanding—from scoring HBO and Netflix shows to recent work with Bjorn Yttling, Cerys Matthews, and new collaborators Disco Mary, whose single “Proof” dropped June 25.

Music, literature, madness—welcome to Kev Sherry’s world!
