With a mere three weeks to go until this year’s Great Escape, the festival has ramped up its line-up game by announcing grime trailblazer Kano as its third and final spotlight show.
What’s more is that the rapper will be bringing along a sizzling clutch of friends including Little Simz, Ghetts, Kojo Funds, DJ Maximum and DJs Elijah and Skilliam.
Speaking about the announcement, Kano said: “I can’t wait to get back onstage with my band, and what makes it even more exciting is that I got some friends with me. And they just so happen to be some of the best in the game today.”
The show will take place on Friday May 19th at The Old Market.
The festival’s Event Manager Kevin Moore said: “With only three weeks to go, this year’s festival is shaping up to be the most exciting in the history of The Great Escape… Brighton will be buzzing with over 450 artists performing across 30 venues… and we’ve still got some surprises up our sleeves.“
