Kanye West designed a range of shirts urging black voters to leave the Democrat party

Kanye West has channelled his controversial political views into his fashion.

The Yeezy designer created a line of “Blexit” shirts, short for “black exit”, drawn from ‘Brexit’, the term coined for Britain’s exit from the European Union.

The line of hats and t-shirts, which were launched at the Washington Young Black Leadership Summit, are part of a campaign urging black voters to leave the Democrat party.

Speaking at the Washington summit Candace Owens, Turning Point USA’s communication director, announced that the controversial rapper had created the merchandise.

Owens said: “Blexit is a renaissance and I am blessed to say that this logo, these colours, were created by my dear friend and fellow superhero Kanye West,

“(West) has taken one of the boldest steps in America to open a conversation we have needed to have and I cannot tell you how badly he wishes he could be here.”
