If you’ve seen Kay Kumar’s video ‘SVDS’, you already know this rapper does not stick with ordinary. Shot in the beautiful landscapes of Morocco, Kumar and Zak Le Ninja use different scenes to really portray the diversity in their video.
So when we found out Kumar has a love for extreme sports, we weren’t exactly surprised, but of course wanted to get the scoop on his flair for death-defying activities!
Kumar credits his unique interest to being very “accident-prone as a child”. He stated that he also almost drowned as a kid, and faced many other near-death situations such as falling from roofs or spinning off on busy motorways. While these experiences would make most a little more cautious and fearful, Kumar stated that facing death in the eye made him want to tackle even more of these types of situations, and come out on top!
He therefore tried skydiving for the first time in 2013 in Dubai, and noted the intense adrenaline pump that was like nothing else. He also bungee jumps, skis, snowboards, and mountain climbs!
We also heard from Kumar himself that he may be featuring a couple of these activities in a new video…we will have to wait and see which one!
When asked if he will ever stop, Kumar stated: “No challenge is too tricky or too dangerous…yet”.
