Based in the city of Cambridge, Keltrix are a new folk group who not only show great skill in their song writing, but also explore innovative ways of spreading and promoting their new music. Made up of Keri Kel singer, songwriter, guitarist and Sharon Sullivan violinist and producer. Full of ideas and creative energy, a single album simply wasn’t enough to contain their tracks, so their new LP ‘Between & Beyond Storms’ is set to be released as a double sided, double length album.
The ‘A-side’ of the album will concentrate on the rockier side of their folk style, with a ‘B-side’ which will have a more electronic-roots feel. The split demonstrates their versatility as well as a work ethic which sees them not only write and produce songs in high volume, but also gig relentlessly too.

The album was funded as a kickstarter project and you can see exactly why! It’s a creative and very unique album as well as the remix album. Overall both albums are very great. If you a stuck between getting the original and the remix when it’s released, why not get both (If you can’t) original if you prefer folk and the remix if you prefer electronic.
The UK tour that follows will commence from June 2015, and will close with a grand finale homecoming gig at one of Cambridge’s hottest venues, Junction2. There will also be an Album Launch at Cambridge’s very own Portland Arms on April 3rd.
