Kurupt FM, the mock pirate radio crew, have announced a record deal signing with label, XL Recordings.
The five piece group, which includes MC Grindah and DJ Beats among others, have joined the label’s roster which is home to artists such as King Krule, Ibeyi, Radiohead and Arca.

Speaking of their “lucrative long-term deal”, frontman MC Grindah says: “We’re happy to welcome XL Records as the latest signing in the Kurupt FM community! Congrats you lot. You should be very proud of what you’ve achieved.”
The Brentford-based premiere garage crew are expected to release their Lost Tape project later this year.
People Just Do Nothing, the BBC comedy series in which the UK powerhouse stars, is currently airing it’s fourth season of the show. The show follows the group as they attempt to raise the profile of their radio station. More on the Lost Tape project as it’s announced.
