Kyson returns with new single ‘Every High’

Kyson has returned with a new single, ‘Every High‘.

The new cut sees Kyson, real name Jian Liew, blend a luxurious mix of gentle guitars, ghostly vocal harmonies and big, bellowing sub-basses. Ethereal pads bleed into the mix amongst the blips and bloops of electronic percussion blending authentic elements with alien soundscapes. Listen below.

Speaking about ‘Every High’, Kyson himself shares: “I wanted to write a song about overcoming the feeling or need we have as individuals to modify ourselves and our personalities to please others in our daily lives… about how honesty and trust can help overcome this pressure of pleasing, and the journey of finding the way towards both of these emotions.”

The Australian-native is gearing up to release his third album this summer which follows his previous two records which arrived via the Friends Of Friends imprint. ‘Every High‘ is out now via Majestic Casual.
