Limp Bizkit’s Fred Durst is directing a film starring John Travolta

Fred Durst, the Limp Bizkit frontman, is directing a new film that stars John Travolta.

As Variety reports, the new movie is called Moose and in addition to the direction was also co-written by Durst. The film is inspired by the musician’s real-life experience with a super fan who allegedly stalked him years ago. Travolta plays the lead character, a movie fan who is obsessed with his favourite action film star (portrayed by Devon Sawa) and eventually tries to destroy his life.

The project is currently underway in Alabam and follows the singer’s previously directed movies The Education of Charlie Banks (starring Jesse Eisenberg) and The Longshots (starring Ice Cube).
