The Foo Fighters have returned with new single, ‘Run‘.
After debuting new tracks, ‘The Sky Is A Neighbourhood‘ and ‘Keep Your Pretty Promise To Yourself‘ at various live dates, it was clear that the Seattle band had new music on the horizon. The track ‘Run‘ is put together using their tried and tested formula; a balladesque build up followed by riffs which are propelled by frontman Dave Grohl‘s high-powered vocals, before reintroducing the hook in the chorus. The high-driven track is laden with hooks and riffs does not disappoint as a comeback track from the band.
The video was directed by Grohl and depicts the band as elderly residents of a nursing home. As they perform, they inspire the other residents to riot. Check it out below.
‘Run‘ is the first new music the band has released since 2015, and with an upcoming international tour, hopefully, there’s more to come soon.
