Katy Perry has released brand new track ‘Chained To The Rhythm‘.
Yesterday, the singer set up special ‘disco ball’ listening posts in cities across the globe so fans could hear the new single before it’s official release.
Perry teased a disco-tinged clip from her single on Instagram on Tuesday. She since shared a clip of herself plugging a pair of headphones into a giant disco ball, and a map showing fans where they could find the disco ball listening posts.
London’s Leicester Square was the only UK listening post on the map. Fans have been sharing pictures of themselves at the listening post – and lyrics from the single – on Twitter using the hashtag #ChainedToTheRhythm.
Now, the star has shared the full audio track ahead of her performance at the Grammy Awards, where she’ll presumably play the single for the first time. She joins a star-studded line-up performing at the Grammys, which includes Adele, Metallica and Lady Gaga, and Daft Punk and The Weekend.
