Listen to Nick Cave and Warren Ellis’ latest collaboration

Nick Cave and Warren Ellis have shared a collaborative track from their original score for the thriller, Wind River.

Entitled ‘Three Season In Wyoming’, the track is the latest in a series of Cave/Ellis collaborations including scores for Brad Pitt‘s War Machine and Viggo Mortensen‘s Far From Men.

Speaking about their latest soundtrack offering, the pair said: “The soundtrack to the beautiful Wind River was first and foremost the incessant wind or the grieving silence of the snow… amid those elemental forces, we made a kind of ghost score where voices whisper and choirs rise up and die away and electronics throb and pulse.”

Wind River is the directorial debut from Sicaro writer Taylor Sheridan, and stars Elizabeth Olsen and Jeremy Renner as the pair investigate the murder of a teenage girl on Wyoming’s remote Wind River Indian Reservation.

The full soundtrack composed by Cave and Ellis will be released digitally via Lakeshore Records/Invada Records on 4th August.
