Before Tom Hardy was the renowned actor he is today, starring in films such as The Dark Knight Rises and Bronson, he tried his hand at rapping.

Hardy began rapping at the age of “14 or 15” he explained in a 2011 interview with BBC Newsbeat. He also revealed that he had a recording deal before kicking off his acting career.

I’ve recorded loads of stuff but it’s never been released,” he said. Now, his mixtape from 1999, Falling on Your Arse in 1999, has emerged. Listen to the mixtape below.

The mixtape of Hardy’s unfinished recordings was uploaded to Bandcamp by BAFTA-winning television writer and director, Edward Tracy. Hardy’s rap alias was Tommy No.1 with Eddy, who produced the beats, taking the name Eddie Too Tall.
