Mac DeMarco has returned with a brand new album, This Old Dog.
Following on from 2015’s mini-album Another One and 2014’s Salad Days album, the new record is available for streaming and includes the previously-shared tracks, ‘My Old Man’, ‘On The Level’, and ‘One More Love Song’.
In recent months, DeMarco has been a busy boy in his own, particularly quirky way. Earlier this year, he launched a search for an assistant to run his fan club – set up in 2015 and run by Mac himself, his mother Agnes and his manager Michelle Cable. Each applicant had to submit a cover letter, a résumé, and “your dankest Mac meme or Mac related GIF“. He also announced a Mac DeMarco Fan Fiction contest and held a listening party and barbeque for charity – which took place in Los Angeles on April 30th, his birthday.
