N.E.R.D team up with Rihanna for new song Lemon and share video

N.E.R.D have returned with a new single titled ‘Lemon‘ following a number of mysterious online teasers.

The new song features Rihanna and is the group’s first new music since their 2014 contribution to The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge Out of Water soundtrack. ‘Lemon‘ premiered on Beats 1 yesterday (1st November) and now a neon-tinted video, directed by Todd Tourso and Scott Cudmore has dropped, which features an attitude driven dance routine. Check out the video for ‘Lemon‘ below.

Lemon‘ is available now as a 7″ vinyl and includes a B-side version of the track without Rihanna. The three-piece, consisting of Pharrell Williams, Chad Hugo and Shay Haley, is set to perform at ComplexCon in California on 4th November. The ComplexCon will see the group performing for the first time since they appeared at Tyler, the Creator’s Camp Flog Gnaw Carnival. Their last studio album, Nothing, was released back in 2010.
