As you can hear from the track above, his is a slick – if slightly off-kilter – style that sets him apart from many of his London peers who are also looking to break into the urban music scene. But it’s not only his unusual style that he’s using to his advantage.
ShadyKJV has also entered the UK wide talent search competition Open Mic UK, and has managed to make it through to this year’s area finals at the Beck Theatre in Middlesex on November 23rd. This particular round will see all of the best artists from London and the east side of the country vying for a place in the finals of the whole competition.
All in all then, it’s shaping up to be a big few weeks for ShadyKJV, and one that may well see him take a big step forward.
