These are Obama’s favourite tracks from 2017

Barack Obama has shared a list of his favourite track’s from 2017 and the good people at Pitchfork have turned it into a playlist.

The 20 track playlist features a number of 2017’s big winners with songs from SZA, Frank Ocean, The National, Travis Scott, J Balvin, Kendrick Lamar, JAY-Z, Harry Styles, and more. The majority of the songs were available on Spotify except for two – Chance The Rapper‘s ‘First World Problems‘ and Jay-Z‘s ‘Family Feud‘. Listen to Obama’s favs below.

In addition to the list of tracks, the former president also shared his favourite books of the year. His book selection included works by Mohsin Hamid, Ron Chernow, and others with an honourable mention to Bruce Springsteen and Shea Serrano.

At the beginning of last year, Spotify put out an advertisement for a tailor-made job for President Obama. Check out the hilarious job spec here.
