Passion Pit drop three new tracks

Synth-poppers, Passion Pit, have dropped three new tracks in the name of a good cause.

The Massachusetts indietronica band have debuted new singles ‘I’m Perfect’‘Inner Dialogue’, and ‘Somewhere Up There’ via the Wishart Group’s YouTube account. The Group was set up by frontman Michael Angelakos to “support musicians and provide them with legal, educational, and healthcare services.” The company has reportedly already raised more than $250 in funding thus far and will function primarily as a mental health program.

Angelakos himself was diagnosed with bipolar disorder at age 17. Speaking to Rolling Stone in 2012, he said: “I was suffering from something called Psychomotor Retardation, which is essentially where your brain starts shutting down your entire body… so you’re sitting in bed, and you can barely move

The following year, he received the Beatrice Stern Media Award for openly discussing mental health issues, at the Erasing the Stigma Leadership Awards.
