After serving since 11, November 2021 as President of National Black Radio Hall Of Fame Chicago Chapter Dinahlynn Biggs is stepping down in her position effective July 2025. She was the first black woman to be appointed to the position. Grateful for the opportunity and expertise in the leadership role, Dinahlynn is now shifting her main focus to her position with Billboard. Along with serving as developing new artists for Pandora Radio. Biggs also continues her ownership of her Chicago station, BIGGS RADIO, that operates out of her hometown of Indianapolis, IN. In another series of other firsts Dinahlynn Biggs was the first Black female Radio Station owner in the state of Indiana as of 2020.
A dive further into her backstory: In 2024 Dinahlynn Biggs celebrated 50 years in the radio and music business. Starting as a kid in Gary, IN under the late Vivian Carter, who operated the 1st Black owned Record label in the world (Vee-Jay Records). Biggs is a graduate of Indiana University, member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc & Order of Eastern Star. The radio station she founded, WCHI BIGGS RADIO Chicago, is on 24/ 7 with an array of national commercials and sponsorship’s that reflect her love of community service. She also heads BIGGS Radio in Germany.
