Prince exhibition showcasing iconic items to debut in London this year

Prince will be tributed with an exhibition titled My Name Is Prince, which will come to London in October.

The show will take place at London’s O2 Arena on 27th October and will feature hundreds of items from the late singer’s Paisley Park Estate in Minnesota. A collection of priceless items such as stage outfits, instruments, handwritten lyrics, and more possessions from throughout Prince’s career will appear in the exhibition, including his third-eye sunglasses and Gibson L65 guitar from 1980.

The event will take place for a total of 21 days which mirrors the same number of record-breaking shows the artists sold out at the O2 Arena in 2007.

Speaking about the exhibition, Tyka Nelson, the ‘Purple Rain‘ singer’s sister stated: “This is the first time we’ve taken any items out of Paisley Park. I’m so excited to be able to meet the fans and share their Prince stories and give them hugs, and have a cry with them if need be.
