Ringo Starr will play host to one lucky fan at his 77th birthday brunch on July 7th, in support of the David Lynch Foundation.
Participants making a minimum donation of $10 through Omaze will be entered into a draw to be flown to the event – to be held in Los Angeles, where they’ll join brunch with Starr and his friends, participate in a “peace and love” photocall outside Capitol Records, and stay in a luxury hotel.
The foundation was set up by filmmaker David Lynch in 2005 to “prevent and eradicate the all-pervasive epidemic of trauma and toxic stress among at-risk population” through the implementation of Transcendental Meditation.
Starr recently urged people across the world to spread “peace and love” at noon local time on July 7th via a special video message. In it, he said: “Wherever you are: on the bus, in the factory, having dinner, having lunch… no matter what part of the world you’re in.”
