This is the second track to come off the singer’s upcoming album.
Sam Smith has released soulful track ‘Pray‘ which was produced by Timbaland. The track will appear on his second album The Thrill of It All and is the second song off the album, following lead single ‘Too Good At Goodbyes‘. The album will be a follow up to his 2014 effort In The Lonely Hour. Listen to ‘Pray‘ below.
Speaking to Zane Lowe in on Beats 1, he explained that the lead single was “about me and about a relationship that I was in”. Speaking about the album, he said: “People are gonna see, this one as I’ve said is about me and something that I’ve gone through… What I’ve been through relationship wise the last year has made me a lot stronger and I feel like I’ve learned some lessons from it.”
The ten-track LP includes credits from Timbaland, James Napier, Frank Ocean collaborator Malay, Jason “Poo Bear” Boyd, Stargate, and YEBBA.
