The Walmart Yodelling Kid is playing at Coachella

Mason Ramsey, otherwise known as ‘The Walmart Yodelling Kid’, will be playing at Coachella this weekend. The 11-year-old from Golconda, Illinois is set to share the stage with some of music’s biggest acts.

Reportedly, after Ramsey’s appearance on The Ellen Degeneres Show, several acts reached out in hopes of collaborating with him. Now, Ramsey will be performing a Saturday set at the Grand Ole Opry during the festival’s second weekend.

Mason’s popularity has soared since a video of him yodelling Hank Williams‘ “Lovesick Blues” at a Harrisburg, IL Walmart blew up. It’s led to an appearance on Ellen, a follow-up concert at the Walmart and a 69-year-old song being back at the top of the charts.
