Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey sent Azealia Banks some of his beard so she could protect him from ISIS

Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey reportedly sent Azealia Banks some clippings from his beard so that she could make him a protection amulet to ward off “evildoers”.

The ‘212’ rapper made the claim back in 2016 via Twitter, stating that Dorsey: “Sent me his hair in an envelope because i was supposed to make him an amulet for protection.”

Nothing came of her bizarre claim, until now.

The tweet has been referenced in a new Vanity Fair article on the Twitter CEO.

Within the article, author Nick Bilton claimed: “A source who worked with him told me Dorsey had sent a rapper his beard shavings to make him an amulet that would protect him from evildoers.”

While she wasn’t named, it’s a pretty solid guess to assume that the rapper was Azealia Banks.

Banks claimed that in exchange for the amulet (and some promotion of his cash transfer app, Square), Dorsey said he would promote her mixtape Slay-Z.

Reportedly, the CEO wanted protection after he was threatened by ISIS in a video earlier that year.

Dorsey has yet to mention Slay-z in any capacity, so it’s safe to assume that he never got that amulet.
