Watch Bon Iver playing an unreleased song called ‘Hayward MI’

Bon Iver played a brand new song called ‘Hayward MI‘ during their For Emma, Forever Ago 10th-anniversary show last night.

The new unreleased song was written around the time Justin Vernon was working on For Emma, his debut as Bon Iver. In addition to previewing the new track, the group also performed renditions of ‘Re: Stacks‘ and ‘Lovin’s For Fools‘  – their Sarah Siskind cover. During their tour in Virginia, the Justin Vernon lead group debuted another new unnamed and unreleased track. Speaking of the track Vernon explains: “It’s new and it’s not even quite done, but I just want to play it for y’all.” It was also recently announced that Kyle Frenette, the band’s manager, would be running for Congress in Wisconsin.
