Watch Dave Grohl play a wolf man in hilarious scrapped SNL sketch

Foo Fighters appeared on Saturday Night Live over the weekend and now a sketch that was cut from the episode has been shared online.

The sketch is set on New Year’s Eve and follows Beck Bennett as he tries, again and again, to meet up with Kyle Mooney. Mooney and the crew keep changing locations and Bennett finds it increasingly hard to find his friends. At one point during the sketch, our protagonist finds himself in a white infinity room where he meets a “weird, wolf-looking guard guy” holding an axe. In order to enter the next bar, he must share a secret with the wolfman disguised Foo Fighters frontman. “That was very brave of you to share,” Grohl tells Bennett. Watch the hilarious clip below.

During the episode on Saturday, the band also performed a Christmas medley accompanied by three backup singers. In addition to the Christmas medley where they performed ‘Everlong‘, ‘Christmas (Baby Please Come Home)‘, and ‘Linus and Lucy‘, the Foos also performed a rendition of ‘The Sky Is A Neighbourhood‘ from their most recent album, Concrete and Gold.
