Ed Sheeran has shared the visuals for his song ‘Galway Girl‘ featuring actress Saoirse Ronan (Atonement, Brooklyn, Hannah).
Taking place in the city of Galloway itself, the video shows Saoirse Ronan letting loose and pub crawling across a number of venues. Shot in the first person by Ed Sheeran, the video displays the Galway Girl twirling and enticing him, leading him on a journey through the party towns finest attractions. The adventure illustrates a fun filled evening where Sheeran gets new ink, plays darts, is chased by fans and then eventually clobbered for struggling to hold his drink.
The folk-inspired track was created with the help of the Irish band Bodega. ‘Galloway Girl‘ stands as the third track from Divide, following ‘Castle on the Hill‘ and ‘Shape of You‘, to get the video treatment.
