Watch Lorde and Carly Rae Jepsen perform with Bleachers on MTV Unplugged

Lorde and Carly Rae Jepsen teamed up with Jack Antonoff and his band, Bleachers, for a performance on MTV Unplugged yesterday (16th September)

The band performed an acoustic version of their song ‘Hate That You Know Me‘, which originally featured Jepsen before Lorde joined Antonoff for a piano rendition of ‘Don’t Take The Money’, a song she co-wrote. Watch below.

MTV recently revived their acoustic performance series after being discontinued back in 2000. The show originally ran from 1989 to 2000 and featured a number of iconic bands and legendary musicians performing stripped back covers of other artists work.

The New York band also performed ‘Shadow‘ and ‘I Wanna Get Better‘ from their 2014 album Strange Desire before playing the track ‘Everybody Lost Somebody’ from their current album, Gone Now.

Antonoff previously collaborated with the ‘Call Me Maybe‘ singer co-writing This Kiss B-side ‘Sweetie‘ back in 2012.
